Celebrate Michael’s big day with a day in the country! Each day will be filled with food, frozen drinks, lawn games, and more — culminating with a nightly fireworks display.

What’s the plan?
It’s pretty simple — enjoy a day on the farm by the pool, soaking in the sun, playing games, and eating yummy cookout food. Before the sun goes down, we will head to a quaint local eatery for dinner. Around 9:00, we’ll head back to the farm for a fireworks display worthy of Michael’s milestone birthday. Repeat the second day.

Who’s invited?
Friends, family — basically anyone who wants to dunk Michael in the pool. Well-behaved dogs allowed.

This is a listing of area resorts, hotels, motels, and roadside cabins. Reservations are recommended — July 4th weekend is a busy time in the area.

What happens if it rains?
Don’t even think it! But if it is miserable outside, we will plan a variety of activities in the area, which may include Old Bedford Village, a living museum replicating the late 1700s, a tour of the 9/11 Memorial, a day of antiquing and thrift shopping, or a tour of the underground Coral Caverns. We will figure it out — and still set off the fireworks, because….FIREWORKS!
