Complimentary Access
for WASHINGTON, DC Students
Through a generous donation, access to the documentary short “Miss Alma Thomas: A Life in Color” and the accompanying lesson plan for students in grades 6-12 is available for FREE to all public, charter, and private schools in the District of Columbia.
Please complete the quick form to request a screening link. On approval (usually within 1 day), you will receive an email with a unique link to stream the film from Vimeo. This link is valid for one week once activated.
We encourage you to incorporate the accompanying lesson plan which has been developed using the District of Columbia’s curriculum standards, and explores Miss Thomas’s life experiences and understanding media literacy.
After screening the film, we request that you return to this page to complete another quick questionnaire to allow us to understand the students’ reactions, and how we can improve this program.
NOTE: The link provided to watch the film is valid for one week from the date of redemption. To purchase the film for long-term use, click here.
